This is the longest I’ve gone without writing and I am SOOO sorry y’all
So much has happened in the past year so buckle up 🙂
Let’s start with my birthday trip in December. My boyfriend & I went to South Africa for my 30th. It was the best birthday I think I will ever have. I fell completely in love with all of the animals. I cannot wait to get back to Africa. Our tour guide Sim was such a down to earth humble man, if only I could tell ya the stories he shared. It was such an eye opening experience for so many reasons. Seth and I’s first trip out of Australia together which was interesting to say the least. It’s different traveling solo so I had to learn how to navigate with him. I wouldn’t change it for the world though, he’s pretty great. We both bought camera’s just for this trip and it made me realize how much I truly enjoy photography. Especially wild life photography, which is why we need to get back asap. I have hundreds of pictures and I just want everyone to see all of them but I know that’s not possible so here are a few:

Besides seeing the animals & learning about South Africa the cooking class was by far one of the best nights we had on the trip. If you know what master chef is that’s basically what it was with a lot of dancing involved.

I could sit here and talk about that trip literally this entire post but I have much more we have to talk about. If y’all wanna see more pictures or hear more about the trip lmk and I can make a whole post about it.

There isn’t a whole lot to do in Broome other than work, go to beach and go camping. Which sounds soooo terrible right? Sadly it’s way too hot to go camping all year round so realistically we only get about 2-3 solid months, if that to actually enjoy it. Broome is such a remote place that there truly isn’t much around. Isn’t it funny how i’ve always wanted to live in a small beach town and now that I am I wish I were somewhere else? I think if it weren’t so far away from other places or there was more to do it wouldn’t be so bad. It is absolutely stunning here I will say. We are trying to find a way to love it here considering we will be here for another 3 years…

Will get into the whole 3 year thing in the next blog hehe

Yes, you’re seeing that correctly, I did go home for a bit. Spent a lot of time with my loved ones and it filled my cup UP. Finally got to meet my little nephew, see two of my best friends get married, creekboy meetings, and so much more. I am so sorry to those I didn’t get to see while I was home, just had limited time. This was a complete surprise only few people knew & it was so worth it.

Not much to say other than I have missed every single person so much. This trip was much needed. I love and miss you all daily, but I am also building my life over here. Just, not quite ready to move back yet.

I seriously could also just turn this entire blog into pictures only. This is what happens when Kelsey doesn’t write for a year.
Shame on me
You know what, I’ll just get better about posting. I just feel like y’all don’t enjoy it as much because when I don’t travel I don’t really have much to talk about. Def don’t want to bore ya. That’s it for now enjoy all of the pictures and I am sorry the blog looks soooooo much better on a laptop rather than phone.
