I’ve just been living my best life so I do apologize for the delay on new posts.

After Noosa we went camping & went to the everglades. Then we went to Rainbow Beach, K’Gari, Airlie Beach & now Magnetic Island. Next FINAL stop is Cairns. I am so beyond ready for this tour to be over with honestly. I have had the best time with the best people but I am over traveling so much.

Noosa Everglades:

We went camping (not in actual tents we had AC) & then went to the everglades. It’s cool because now I can say that I have been to one of the two everglades in the world. We all pitched in for taco night, which just was such a wholesome night. Saw a BUNCH of kangaroo’s too.

Rainbow beach:

We started in the worst hostel possible. I had sweat dripping down my legs because it was so hot in our rooms. We had no AC at all. So all of us complained to the tour company were with & they upgraded us to Debbie’s place for two nights before we went camping on K’Gari. Debbie’s place was my favorite because it made me feel like being in my own place. SLEPT IN AN ACTUAL BED. I almost cried. The day we got there was 1 whole year my time since Irene passed. So I of course got a shot of jack for her & everyone in my group took a shot out of it. Everyone said that Irene was looking out for us because of Debbie’s place.

K’Gari:

We went actual camping, in tents, no AC. I enjoyed it so much. We had 4 different cars with about 7-8 people each. Each car was in charge for cooking meals. My group was in charge of breakfast. We had it pretty easy. Us 3 American’s buttered the bread before putting it on stove top. Everyone thought we were crazy then eventually realized how well it toasted the bread. We went stargazing & it was unreal. I haven’t seen stars like that ever. Had a camp fire which made me feel like I was back on the creek in MJ. (Made me a little homesick!) I drove for the first time on the wrong side of the car on the beach. Then after the island I drove the car on the wrong side of the road too!! I kept finding myself drifting to the left a lot. I did miss driving though. I hadn’t drove since I left the states. Dingo’s are so cute but very dangerous sadly so you can’t pet them. I’ll post quite a few pictures from this one!

Airlie Beach (My favorite):

We took a little airplane up above the Great Barrier Reef. The pictures speak for itself. I was Copilot, scary right? We saw the heart reef (which I think some of us are getting this tattooed maybe?) Then we went on a boat cruise around the Whitsunday’s after. I did this last year & it was raining the entire time. So it was so nice to enjoy the boat ride without rain!! I could see myself living in Airlie. After the boat we went to bingo which wasn’t like any bingo i’ve ever been to. This one you got on chair’s danced around when they played songs & more. Then went to a cool bar that was Africa themed & girls got to drink for free. Needless to say the ladies had a little too fun!! This was honestly by far one of the best days since being on tour.

Now we are in Magnetic Island & I’ll tell you all about that in the next blog.
