That is how they write their dates here which is hard to change when you’ve been writing the date starting with month first since you were a little child. Just how they drive on the opposite side of the road!!! I also don’t think it’ll ever feel normal for me “living in the future.” Right now it is 1pm Monday here while back in Nashville it is 8pm Sunday night. Thankful for the World Clock on my phone I’d be lost without it.

Yesterday I walked around manly some more & I really do love this area so much better than Bondi & Sydney central. During my walk yesterday I went for lunch at Wockbar which was an Asian style place. Let me tell ya… absolutely amazinggggg!!! They had lunch specials so I got a few things off of that.

I am not sure how the nightlife is yet because I haven’t gone out. Which I am A-okay with. It has been so nice to just CHILL considering next week my east coast tour starts. I can’t wait to tell you guys all about that trip!! I am hoping to find my future home while traveling up the coast.

I went for another walk around my hostel today & grabbed a coffee. The coffee wasn’t the best I’ve had since being here. Then I went to the gym because I wanted to see if my old membership from back home was still active & it is. I just don’t have access to my key card so I can only go during staffed hours as of right now. I’ve been trying to get ahold of my gym back home and I keep forgetting they are a day behind. I desperately need to get back into the swing of things. I miss working out like crazy and it is driving me crazy not being in the gym.

I am currently back at my hostel now & just made some lunch. I had a salad with chicken, fruit & almonds. This hostel’s kitchen is so much better than both Wake up hostels. I will say a positive note about using the hostel kitchen is that you have to immediately clean your dishes. So they don’t just sit in the sink like at home haha. Some people still don’t listen though & again I mentioned this before I would hate to see what their house looks like.

Anyway – the hostel finally posted their new event schedule for the week! All the events look pretty good. I definitely plan on going to tequila night because why not? Along with the beach yoga, trivia, bbq night & then game night. I absolutely love how hostels have events like this because it is just a good way to meet people. If you don’t want to meet anyone you can just not participate which I have done a few times. That is also perfectly okay. This is all apart of solo travel! You get to do what you want, when you want. They have a bar in this hostel which is only open Wednesday-Saturday. I noticed on their menu they have espresso martini’s so ya girl might be in trouble…. all jokes aside I do love me a good Espresso martini. So hopefully it’s good!! Now that the rain has stopped I am going to get out of this hostel and walk around some more.
