Can y’all believe that it’s finally here?!? Because I still cannot. My cousin Annie, Elijah, Aunt Jane, and my best friend Erin, and Alex all drove me to the airport. Feels like I am just going on another vacation & I’ll see everyone in a few weeks. Even though that’s simply not the case at all haha.
I am currently sitting on the plane heading to LA watching Crazy Rich Asians. This is my second movie already and I haven’t even gotten on my longest flight yet. How many movies do you think I’ll watch until I land in Sydney? My layover is about 4 hours! I’ve never been out this far west before so it sucks that I can’t go explore. I can always come back home & explore more the states one day! They have Panda Express at the airport so best believe I will be getting that before I head to Australia. Just wish they had in and out at the airport so I could finally try it! Let’s face it I’d still probably get panda knowing it’s my last time eating it for a while.
Honestly my emotions are just everywhere. I feel like they will be for a while. Well, at least until I land. Then I hit the ground running with all sorts of fun plans. Saturday when I land (most of yalls Friday) I will be meeting my friend Julie before she heads to Melbourne. I met Julie on my EF trip when we came to Australia earlier this year. After that I booked a Christmas boat party!! I’ll be able to see the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera house from a BOAT!! The weather when I land with the heat wave is 108!! I somehow am apart of so many group chats of girls and guys moving to Sydney. So I’ll be meeting some of those girls over the next few weeks. Can’t wait to share my itinerary with y’all!!!
I’m seriously just so proud of myself for this! I know I moved to Nashville 6 years ago not knowing a whole lot of people. But I can say I’ve made a pretty good life while living in Nashville. So moving across the world shouldn’t be that big of an adjustment right? 😏
