Kelsey's travel diary

ONLY 9 DAYS Y’ALL. I am starting to freak out a little honestly. I can’t believe it’s already almost here. This week I am visiting with my family & friends back home in Indiana. I hate the thought of “saying goodbye” so it’s a “see ya later” instead. Many people have asked me if I’m going to be able to live away from my family, the answer is yes. Only because I haven’t lived by them in 6 years. It will definitely be hard not being 4 hours away from them anymore. I can’t just hop in my car and drive, I have to book a 15+ hour flight. I am very lucky that they have always supported me with my decisions in life. (Okay, maybe not every decision but you get the point.) Yes, we are all sad that I am moving across the world but more importantly we are all excited.

This blog is mainly for my family, friends & myself. One day I hope it’ll reach people who enjoy traveling. People who want to travel but are afraid to do so. People who have no idea where to start. I want people to experience the world through my journey because some people might never get that chance. That’s why I have created my website and blog because I want to help people who are just like me. Solo travel can be scary but it is 100% worth the risk. You will always regret NOT going. Don’t wait on anyone either because then you might never go. Go on solo dates, travel solo, move to a new place, do what YOU want to do. Just do it before it’s too late.
